Clare Island At Sunset From Carrowniskey Beach.

Clare Island is the location of one of the castle's of 16th century pirate queen Gráinne Uaile/Grace O'Malley.

Taken from the stunning Carrowniskey Beach, a few miles/km from Louisburgh and is just off the R378 (Leenaun/Leenane) Road on the Wild Atlantic Way.

From recollection, this was taken the same day as this cloud photo taken from this beach that I also have here.
